Working on journalism and copywriting projects aimed at a business to customer audience.
I'm a creative in many different ways. I have written poetry and song lyrics, I love to take photo's, and I am a long time crafter. I think creative passion comes through in my lively writing style and natural curiosity. Storytelling in all it's forms inspires me.
My first question to ask you, my website visitors is: what do you need words for, what are their purpose or aim? I can ask the right questions to create an engaging feature about a music act, author, or to provide insight on various topics, refresh tired and outdated content, write to an SEO brief, or write evergreen press material, like I did for a touring Queen tribute.
Please check out my journalism and copywriting pages for more information about how I can deliver for your business or publication. I can offer help and experience with features, reviews and previews, web content, blogs, product copy, press material, art and craft project creation and more.
Subject niches: My niches are music and entertainment, books, art and craft, researched travel and travel adjacent content, and sometimes mental health and well-being. But the story doesn't end there, I adapt to many general copywriting projects, and have a few one-off surprises among my journalism portfolio, as you will see when you take a look around my website.
I work on a freelance, remote basis from my home office in Essex. I have a quiet office space, along with internet and email connections that enable me to work effectively for all my clients.
Work life means enjoying all the flexibility and freedom freelancing brings to achieve a good work-life balance, while offering as much flexibility as possible to each and every client.
I work on all kinds of projects, from one-off pieces of work, to a project/batches of copy, and more ad-hoc and on-going arrangements. Just contact me with your needs and we can chat through how best that can work.
I have worked through agencies, and direct with businesses, publications, small businesses and creatives, either on my own ideas or commissioned projects.
When you get in touch about possible work opportunities please send through as much detail as you can about the work, deadlines, and budget so I can gauge the work involved.
Just for fun:
