As a flexible freelancer I can adapt to be a remote extra pair of hands during busy times, work solo on ad-hoc on-going projects, or deliver consistent copy for one-off assignments. I am well-versed in working with agencies or direct with individuals, music acts, and small businesses, working to your brief and deadlines. Hiring me as your freelancer, can help banish the fluff and hype, polish up your copy into something customer/audience ready, and give a balance between genuinely useful copy, and the right keywords etc. to help your web presence grow.
I specialise in business to customer (B2C) copywriting, with niches in music and researched travel, and have added value to a variety of general copywriting projects. Please see below some of the services I can offer you and/or your business. I will add in samples and example projects where possible.
I was hired by the SEO Manager at Debenhams to be part of a remote team working on product landing pages for the website. The bulk product copy work included landing pages for fashion, sale items, and luxury beauty. The latter involved writing on-brand copy for YSL and Lancôme beauty products. These had to convey genuinely useful customer information, with just the right amount of story telling.

Flash are an established, full-time touring Queen tribute act who I'd previously featured in an article all about tribute bands on independent news website The Overtake. Having seen my writing work they approached me to write some content for their souvenir theatre programme. They had some jumbled train of thought notes on the history of the band, and they needed a writer to turn it into condensed, polished copy. This project involved pulling key pieces of the band story, ordering them in a logical and easy to digest way, and adding in some nostalgia and fun for Queen fans.
I also produced a press kit for the band, this featured a front cover, biography, additional notes and media links. The band didn't at that time have a press kit, and also wanted something that would act as a template and could be easily updated.

Beaulieu Community Centre recently approached me to take some photo's of the centre- interior, exterior, rooms in use at events etc, and later asked for a leaflet design to attract new business.
I designed a double sided leaflet, took the photo's and wrote the copy. Side one is to advertise the venue as a space to hire, and the flip-side to advertise the diverse range of regular activities on offer.
